Genre-bending drummer and composer Yissy García and her ensemble Bandancha are set to bring their unique blend of jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, funk and deep grooves to the Miami Beach Bandshell on Saturday, April 6, as part of FUNDarte's Out In The Tropics series. Hailed as one of Cuba's most dynamic and innovative musicians, García effortlessly blends Cuban folkloric and popular styles with elements of jazz and funk. The performance will also feature special guest X Alfonso and more.
