Dade Heritage Trust is Miami-Dade County's largest historic preservation organization, working to preserve the community's architectural, cultural and environmental heritage. It presents tours, original exhibits, programs and special events to engage people in its mission and teach Miami residents and visitors alike about Miami's great historic places and green spaces. The offices are located in the 1905 original office of Dr. James Jackson, Miami's first physician, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
