JetBoat Miami lets visitors choose from a range of Jet Ski rental options, from half-hour and hour rentals to one-hour guided Jet Ski tours of Biscayne Bay. Located at Sea Isle Marina in Downtown Miami, JetBoat Miami has a fleet of state-of-the-art Jet Skis that are safe and easy for even novices to use. Reservations for Jet Ski rentals and tours, Banana and pontoon boats, yacht cruises and more can be made on a first come, first served basis. All reservations include life jackets. 

Nearby, Jet Ski Tours of Miami operates out of Bentley Bay Marina in Miami Beach. It offers popular 1.5-hour tours of Miami’s coastal sites and islands – like Bayside Marketplace, Star Island, Sir Flagler Island and South Beach – aboard Yamaha wave runners. All guides are Coast Guard-certified and lead participants past cruise ships in PortMiami and through the sites in and around Biscayne Bay. Reservations can be made on a first come, first served basis by calling (305) 538-7547. Free valet parking and lockers are available, but please note that there are no bathrooms onsite.  

Finally, BouYah Watersports works out of some of Miami Beach’s hotels, parks and marinas, including Miami Beach Marina, Mondrian South Beach, Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Loews Hotel Miami Beach, Lummus Park and W South Beach. Riders can rent a Jet Ski and roam free on the Atlantic Ocean or Biscayne Bay, or join a group tour led by an expert guide. Reservations can be made on a first come, first served basis.

Rules and Regulations 

All visitors who want to rent or drive a Jet Ski in Miami must follow these Florida rules and regulations:

• Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must have a Florida’s Boater Education Card. Temporary Boater Education Cards are available online.
• All visitors must be at least 14 years old to drive a Jet Ski.
• All visitors must be at least 18 years old to rent a Jet Ski in their name. 
• Anyone riding, driving or being towed behind a Jet Ski must wear a non-inflatable personal flotation device.  
• All those driving a Jet Ski must have the engine cutoff switch lanyard attached to his or her person, clothing or floatation device at all times. 
• Jet Skis are not allowed on the water between a half hour after sunset and a half hour before sunrise. 
• All those driving a Jet Ski must do so responsibly. Weaving through boat traffic, jumping in the wake of another vessel or swerving at the last minute are all considered reckless operation of a vessel and can be charged as a first-degree misdemeanor.
