As we expand our presence at the Miami Beach Convention Center, we are seeking a dynamic Account Executive to drive sales, manage AV projects, and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Position Overview
The Account Executive – This individual will be responsible for generating new business, cultivating relationships, and ensuring seamless project execution for event technology solutions.
This role requires a blend of sales expertise, technical knowledge, and customer relationship management to drive revenue and create outstanding AV experiences. The Account Executive will report to the Director of Event Technology or Sales Director and collaborate with technical teams, venue partners, and vendors to achieve success.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in AV sales, event production, or system integration (prior experience in audiovisual or hospitality sales is a plus).
Strong knowledge of AV technology, including LED walls, premium audio systems, projection mapping, lighting, and control systems**.
Proven ability to drive sales, manage accounts, and build long-term client relationships.
Experience in preparing and presenting technical sales proposals and contracts.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales management software.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $72,500 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
Commission Plan Available for additional earnings based on performance
