As Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with food production, and maintaining an organized and clean kitchen environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team focused on delivering exceptional food in a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities: -Ensuring the kitchen area is organized and clean, following health and safety regulations. -Preparing and assembling ingredients for various dishes according to recipes and specifications. -Assisting chefs with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. -Monitoring the quality of ingredients and notifying the team of any potential issues. -Maintaining all kitchen equipment clean and stored properly at the end of each shift. -Adhering to cleanliness and safety standards in the prep area. Qualifications: -Prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred -Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment -Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety -A positive, team-oriented attitude -Ability to life and carry heavy items, including boxes of food and kitchen supplies
