Academy of St Martin in the Fields With Joshua Bell
Mar 14, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
Violinist and music director Joshua Bell returns to the Arsht Center’s Knight Concert Hall to lead the acclaimed Academy of St Martin in the Fields in a program of Romantic-era masterworks. The performance, part of the 2025–26 Classical Music Series, takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Bell will serve as both soloist and conductor for Saint-Saëns’ Violin Concerto No. 3, a technically demanding and lyrical work composed for Pablo de Sarasate in 1880. The program concludes with Schumann’s Symphony No. 1, nicknamed Spring for its radiant orchestration and celebratory spirit—a nod to the season’s renewal and optimism.
Prior to the performance, audiences are invited to attend Classical Conversations, a pre-show discussion held one hour before curtain in the Peacock Education Center. This free program offers insights into the evening’s music and the featured artists.
Tickets for the Arsht Center’s 2025–26 Classical Music Series go on sale to the public beginning September 19.
