Adler Guerrier: Untitled

Adler Guerrier’s Untitled (objects, landscape, and things) transforms the Kimpton Surfcomber into an exploration of shared spaces and collective experiences. Part of the City of Miami Beach’s No Vacancy exhibition, this installation weaves together abstract and botanical imagery, presenting a network of visuals that reflect how public spaces are shaped and reimagined. The work draws connections between the lived environment, personal sentiments and the broader concept of the commons.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Guerrier lives and works in Miami, creating art that bridges local and global perspectives. His exhibitions include Conditions and Forms for blck Longevity at the California African American Museum and Formulating a Plot at Pérez Art Museum Miami. His work is also featured in collections such as the Walker Art Center and Studio Museum in Harlem.

Untitled is one of 12 site-specific installations showcased across South Beach hotels as part of No Vacancy, Miami Beach. The exhibition, on view from November 14 to December 12, invites visitors to explore Miami Beach’s cultural vibrancy through contemporary art in unique settings.
