AfriKin Vernissage: An All White VIP Affair
This event has passed.
Marking a decade of artistic celebration, the Afrikin Art Fair Vernissage invites art enthusiasts to an exclusive opening evening on Sunday, December 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Scott Galvin Community Center. Part of the AfriKin Art Fair’s 10th anniversary, this VIP All-White Affair highlights African and diasporic artistry, with a focus on themes of climate, sustainability and cultural heritage as Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami unfold.
Under this year’s theme, Threads of Life in Fragments of Time, the fair presents contemporary African art from over 33 countries, with pieces that delve into the complexities of identity, environmental stewardship, and the resilience of global Black culture. This VIP Vernissage opening features a rich blend of visual art, live music, dance and cuisine, creating an immersive atmosphere that celebrates both diversity and unity in our shared commitment to sustainable futures.
Attendees are encouraged to wear all white with a dash of African Chic. Tickets for VIP admission are $10.
