An Evening With Amy Tan

Discover a unique perspective on finding solace in nature at An Evening with Amy Tan on Friday, November 22, at MDC Wolfson Campus. As part of the 2024 Miami Book Fair's Evening With series, Tan will discuss The Backyard Bird Chronicles, a personal exploration of how birdwatching became her escape during a time of division and unrest. Through her reflections, sketches and daily entries, Tan reveals how connecting with the natural world helped her find peace amid chaos. 

This ticketed event is $35 and includes a copy of the book. Attendees with book-bundle tickets can purchase a $15 companion ticket, which does not include a book. Both ticket types provide free access to the weekend Street Fair, featuring live music, literary events, children's activities, booksellers, local artisans and culinary offerings.
