An Evening with "On Being Jewish Now" Contributors
Feb 24, 2025
From: 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM
On Monday, February 24, Books & Books invites you to an evening with several contributors to the anthology, On Being Jewish Now: Reflections from Authors and Advocates. The event will feature notable authors and advocates reflecting on Jewish identity and resilience. This engaging panel features Talia Carner, Dara Levan, Amy Ephron, Zibby Owens and Debbie Reed Fischer, each sharing insights from On Being Jewish Now. Compiled by editor and media entrepreneur Zibby Owens, the collection brings together 75 voices, including well-known figures such as Mark Feuerstein and Annabelle Gurwitch, who explore the joys, struggles and cultural bonds within Jewish communities, particularly in light of recent global events.
As contributors discuss themes of tradition, humor and collective strength, this gathering offers a window into the cultural and personal narratives that unite the Jewish experience. The evening is free to attend, and copies of On Being Jewish Now will be available for purchase. All book sale proceeds will be directed to Artists Against Antisemitism.
