Ariel Lanyi

The Miami International Piano Festival presents Israeli pianist Ariel Lanyi in concert on Sunday, February 23, at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. This program showcases Lanyi’s impressive range, beginning with Schubert’s Sonata in G Major, D.894, followed by Bartók’s 15 Hungarian Peasant Songs, Sz. 71, and concluding with Chopin’s Sonata No. 3 in B Minor, Op. 58. Recognized for his nuanced interpretations, Lanyi was awarded the Prix Serdang in 2023 and has previously performed with renowned orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. A prize-winning artist with a growing international reputation, Lanyi brings depth and technical mastery to each piece.
