Art Deco Weekend at The Wolf

Celebrate Miami Beach’s iconic architecture at The Wolfsonian - FIU, as part of the city's broader Art Deco Weekend festival.  On Saturday, January 18, the annual Art Deco Weekend at The Wolf features a day of engaging talks.

Held in partnership with the Miami Design Preservation League, this year’s program commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1925 Paris Exposition, the event that gave rise to the Art Deco movement. The day kicks off with Beyond Paris at 11 a.m. examining the exposition’s influence on global design, followed by Art Deco Crosses the Atlantic at 1 p.m., which traces the style’s journey to America. The final session at 3 p.m., The Hidden Histories of Mediterranean Revival Architecture, explores another architectural style that shaped the region.
