Experience the world of inflatable art at the Balloon Museum: Let’s Fly, held at Mana Wynwood from June 22 to October 6. This unique exhibition brings together monumental artworks and international artists to create an immersive, interactive journey that redefines how art is experienced.
Let’s Fly invites visitors to explore an exhibit of works, where freedom, flight and creativity merge. Encounter a variety of installations that engage your senses through touch, sight and sound. Walk through Cyril Lancelin’s luminous labyrinth, interact with Rub Kandy’s playful GINJOS tribe, and bounce alongside Motorefisico’s dynamic spheres. Enjoy the colorful graphic creations of Camilla Falsini and be mesmerized by the hypnotic visual effects of Michael Shaw’s Lava Lamp and Sasha Frolova’s kaleidoscopic fountain.
The exhibition also features Filthy Luker’s whimsical Eye Scream and Octopus Attack, Atelier Sisu’s ethereal bubbles, Evanescent, and Penique Productions’ space-altering Centipede. Visitors can marvel at Quiet Ensemble’s graceful bubbles, create with Karina Smigla-Bobinski’s ADA sculpture and admire Max Streicher’s Floating Giants. Explore Hyperstudio’s sea of black spheres, listen to Eness’s musical sculptures and gaze at MyeongBeom Kim’s aerial installation. Reflect on Tadao Cern’s minimalist BB series and encounter SpY’s intriguing inflatable creature.
Founded in Rome in 2020, the Balloon Museum has been a pioneer in inflatable art, winning the 2022 BEA Best Proprietary Format award. The Let’s Fly exhibition in Miami showcases the work of a new generation of artists who push the boundaries of this versatile medium. Additionally, a dedicated space highlights the history of inflatables, from the Montgolfier brothers’ 18th-century experiments to Jeff Koons’ iconic Balloon Dog series.
