A heart-wrenching drama unfolds at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center this July. Barrabás, Historia de un Perro (Barrabás, A Dog's Story), presented as part of Teatro Avante's 38th International Hispanic Theater Festival of Miami, explores the aftermath of a devastating dog attack on a young child.
The play, directed by Stefanie Neukirch of Montevideo, Uruguay, delves into the emotional turmoil faced by the parents. Witnessing the attack from different perspectives, the mother and father grapple with guilt and blame as they desperately seek answers to this incomprehensible tragedy.
Barrabás, Historia de un Perro runs from July 19 to 21, with performances at 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
