Book Release Party and Reading with Boris Fishman

The Book Release Party and Reading with Boris Fishman will take place on Sunday, April 6 at The Betsy - South Beach. This literary event, presented in partnership with HarperCollins, celebrates Fishman's forthcoming novel The Unwanted, scheduled for publication in 2025.

Fishman has established himself as a significant voice in contemporary literature, with his previous works being recognized as New York Times Notable Books of the Year. His debut novel earned both the VCU Cabell First Novelist Award and the American Library Association's Sophie Brody Medal. Beyond fiction, Fishman has also published Savage Feast, an innovative family memoir told through recipes. Currently teaching at Austin University in Texas, Fishman brings a wealth of literary expertise and cultural insight to this intimate reading and celebration.
