The Miami International Piano Festival invites you to a captivating jazz performance with pianist Brandon Goldberg on Sunday, April 27, at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. Known for his remarkable technical skill, intuitive harmonic sense and ability to capture the essence of jazz standards, Goldberg will perform selections by Kern, Gershwin, Porter and Powell in an evening that celebrates the greats of jazz.

Goldberg has established a significant presence in the jazz world, with performances at notable venues such as Newport Jazz Festival, Dizzy’s Club, Smoke and Birdland Theater. His latest album, Brandon Goldberg Trio Live at Dizzy’s (2024), has been praised for its seamless blend of tradition and innovation, earning critical acclaim for Goldberg’s deft musicianship and strong sense of timing. Recognized as a 2024 YoungArts Winner with Distinction and a semifinalist in the 2023 Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz International Piano Competition, Goldberg’s achievements underscore his growing influence in jazz circles.

Beyond the stage, Goldberg has composed original music for television, contributed compositions to Lawmen: Bass Reeves and collaborated with the Miami Symphony Orchestra, premiering his original works Surroundings and Rhapsody in f minor. His national appearances include features on Good Morning America and Live with Kelly and Mark, where he performed alongside Katharine McPhee. With deep ties to South Florida, he has been a featured artist at the South Beach Jazz Festival, Jazz Roots Series at the Adrienne Arsht Center and the FAENA Summer Jazz Series.
