Join post-punk legend David J for an intimate in-store appearance featuring a vinyl-only DJ set and record signing at Technique Records. Best known as the bassist and founding member of Bauhaus and later as a member of Love and Rockets, David J (David John Haskins) played a pivotal role in shaping the goth and alternative music scenes throughout the 80s and 90s.
Presented by Hexed Miami, David J at Technique Records, takes place on Tuesday, April 8, from 6-8 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the artist, hear an all-7” vinyl DJ set curated by David J himself, and get records signed. The experience continues later in the evening with an afterparty at Gramps Getaway starting at 10 p.m. Admission to both events is free and open to the public.
