Duck with Pride: Unity Beak and Proud Love
Through Jun 30, 2025
Thousands of colorful rubber ducks transform into powerful symbols of pride and acceptance in a striking dual-sculpture installation on Lincoln Road. Unity Beak and Proud Love, created by artist Facundo L. Yebne, will be on display from April 1 through June 30 at 716 Lincoln Road.
This installation features two sculptures: Proud Love, an 8-foot-tall heart composed of approximately 5,000 rubber ducks arranged in Pride flag colors, and Unity Beak, an emotionally powerful sculpture of two kissing ducks crafted from about 16,000 smaller ducks. Unveiled in celebration of Miami Beach Pride and continuing through International Pride Month, the installation transforms a universally nostalgic object—the rubber duck—into a symbol of solidarity. Complementing the sculptures, Lincoln Road's entry planters and concrete bollards are wrapped in rainbow-hued sleeves with unique diagonal designs that incorporate local elements like sun rays and terrazzo patterns.
The art works creates a thoughtful artistic space in Miami Beach's premier commercial district, encouraging dialogue around themes of acceptance and community strength.
