Gentle melodies and powerful storytelling intertwine to create an immersive celebration of our connection to Mother Earth and ancestral wisdom. The Miami Earth Day Celebration: Caminantes de la Nueva Tierra takes place on Saturday, April 26, at the Manuel Artime Theater.
This transformative bilingual concert brings together over 35 emerging artists, including musicians, vocalists and dancers, who share their talents through medicine music—a unique genre that combines uplifting melodies with meaningful lyrics to cultivate joy and reflection.
The evening features an awards ceremony recognizing excellence in three categories: Best Medicine Song of the Year, Cultural Preservation by an Indigenous Community and Individual Leadership in Wellness and Environmental Conservation. These honors celebrate those who have made significant contributions to both artistic expression and planetary well-being.
