Earth Day Tea Ceremony

Visitors are invited to observe Earth Day at Miami Beach Botanical Garden through a reflective and meditative experience centered around the traditional practice of tea. The Earth Day Tea Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 22, offering a guided session led by tea practitioner Tara Benmeleh.

Rooted in the principles of mindfulness and connection, the ceremony—known as cha do, or "The Way of Tea"—combines ritual, artistry and stillness. Benmeleh’s approach, developed through her platform espiritútara, is intuitive and experimental, encouraging participants to engage with the moment, each other and the natural environment. While not psychedelic in nature, tea is recognized for its calming and psychoactive properties, supporting a space for personal insight and quiet contemplation.
