On Friday, January 10, 2025, experience an engaging evening of jazz as celebrated pianist Emmet Cohen and his ensemble take the stage at Collins Park, as part of the South Beach Jazz Festival. Set against the iconic Bass Museum, this free, open-air concert showcases Cohen’s blend of technical mastery and soulful expression. Known for his “Live from Emmet’s Place” sessions and performances at legendary venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Village Vanguard, Cohen will be joined by Russell Hall on bass, Joe Farnsworth on drums, Tivon Pennicott on tenor sax and Georgia Heers on vocals.
The event invites all to enjoy lawn seating with an RSVP. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets for a comfortable evening under the stars. Accessible gallery tours at the Bass Museum will also be available throughout the night.
