Family Day at The Underline

Active play and outdoor learning come together in a morning of family-friendly activities along Miami's urban trail. Family Day at The Underline returns monthly through May 3, taking place on the first Saturday of each month at the Hammock Playground location.

From 10 a.m. to noon, families can participate in various engaging activities, including the popular giant building blocks and a new wellness component called Breathe and Bloom Yoga & Meditation. This mindfulness session encourages families to connect with nature while developing stress-reduction techniques together.

The free community event features live entertainment, local food vendors and opportunities to meet neighbors in a welcoming outdoor setting. The Thyme Machine food truck offers a special 25% discount to all Family Day participants.

While admission is complimentary, advance registration is required, and waitlist options are available for sold-out dates. The Hammock Playground is easily accessible via multiple transportation options, including the Metrorail (Brickell Station), bicycle paths with convenient bike racks, and nearby metered parking and garages. The playground is located across from 1523 SW 1st Ave.
