Free Second Saturdays: Haitian Heritage Month
This event has passed.
Celebrate Haitian culture with PAMM at the Saturday, May 11 installment of Free Second Saturdays. In recognition of Haitian Heritage Month, PAMM presents a program of cultural experiences that include performances by local Haitian dance ensemble Tradisyon Lakou Lakay, Inc. and a creative workshop inspired by After Heade—Moonlit Landscape (2013), a PAMM Permanent Collection work by Haitian-born artist Edouard Duval-Carrié. The workshop will explore aluminum as a canvas.
Afterwards, feel free to explore the galleries, grab a meal at Verde, or sit back and enjoy the breeze on the waterfront terrace. Admission is free all day. Art activities take place from 11am to 3pm or until supplies last
