Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at PAMM's Free Second Saturday
Experience a day of art, culture and family fun on Saturday, October 12 at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). As part of the Free Second Saturdays series, the museum is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with an array of activities and events. Discover the cultures of the Hispanic community through engaging art activities, explore thought-provoking exhibitions and enjoy a meal at Verde.
Highlights include:
- Art Making - Create a unique piece of art inspired by Cecilia Vicuña's Quipu Gut sculpture.
- Interactive Experience - Participate in a communal art activity using finger weaving, facilitated by Robertha Blatt.
- Storytime - Listen to a reading of Daniel Matias's newly-released book, Emergency Quarters.
- Gallery Exploration - Explore PAMM's diverse collection of art, including Rosa dos Ventos, a relational sculpture developed in collaboration by Brazilian artists and psychologists Robertha Blatt and Aline Gonet.
- Relaxation - Enjoy the museum's waterfront terrace.
Admission is free all day, and art activities are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
