History buffs and cycling enthusiasts alike can delve into the unique charm of Coral Gables with the Gables Bike Tours, offered on the third Sunday of every month at 10:00 a.m. Led by Bike Walk Coral Gables in partnership with the Coral Gables Museum, these tours combine leisurely rides along scenic back roads with insightful explorations of the city's rich heritage.
Coral Gables, envisioned by George Merrick in the 1920s, boasts Mediterranean architecture crafted from oolitic limestone. Each Gables Bike Tour features a distinct theme and route, allowing participants to experience different facets of the city. Admission to the Coral Gables Museum is included with the tour, offering a deeper dive into the city's history after the ride. While bicycles are not provided, participants can bring their own for this engaging exploration on two wheels. Helmets are mandatory for children under 16.

September 15: Tour of Parks/Gables Cycle Day
Explore Coral Gables open green spaces, a feature that was important to the city's founders. Visit some of the oldest and newest parks in the City.
October 20: Pinewood Cemetery
Embark on a ghoulish tour through Pinewood Cemetery, the oldest cemetery south of the Miami River. Explore original tombstones, unmarked graves, and a beautiful pine rockland habitat. (Zombie attire encouraged!)
