GroundUP Family Dinner Weekend

GroundUP introduces a fresh approach for its Miami Beach edition with the GroundUP Family Dinner Weekend, a reimagined festival format designed to enhance the connection between artistry and community. Taking place on February 8-9 at the Miami Beach Bandshell, this two-day event combines interactive experiences with live performances, culminating in a session of musical collaboration.

The weekend offers daily masterclasses and workshops featuring Snarky Puppy and other featured artists, providing intimate opportunities to engage with world-class musicians. Each evening transitions into dynamic music sets, including full-length performances by Snarky Puppy and their signature Family Dinner shows, which spotlight collaborations with guest artists such as Lisa Fischer, Youssou N’Dour and John Scofield. Late-night jam sessions at Magic 13 Brewing Co. extend the festivities, featuring Electric Kif and special guests. This format brings to life Snarky Puppy’s Grammy-winning Family Dinner concept, where live collaborations with guest vocalists and instrumentalists are captured in a studio-like setting.

• 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. - Music Sets by John Scofield Trio featuring Vicente Archer and Bill Stewart; Snarky Puppy (full set); Munir Hosen and Elas; and Snarky Puppy Family Dinner featuring Ms. Lisa Fischer, Gaby Moreno, Eric Gales and Living Colour (Corey Glover & Will Calhoun)
