Game Night: The Haitian Edition

An evening of community, culture and friendly competition comes to the Little Haiti Cultural Complex with a game night that highlights Haitian heritage through shared experiences. Centered around traditional pastimes, music and food, the event offers a welcoming space for both longtime locals and new visitors to connect.

Game Night: The Haitian Edition takes place on Friday, May 9, featuring a lineup of classic Haitian games such as dominoes, osle and mancala, alongside popular board games like Uno, Spades and Jenga. Guests can also enjoy karaoke, cultural trivia and giveaways throughout the evening.

DJ Billy Mix will provide the soundtrack with a mix of Haitian rhythms, while Haitian food trucks will be on site offering a variety of savory dishes. Organized by Avanse Ansanm in partnership with L’Heure Productions, 100 Kilti, NGG Entertainment and the FIU Haitian Student Union, the event is free and open to the public.
