Through Jun 30, 2025
From: 06:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Internationally acclaimed artists bring their iconic conservation-themed sculptures to one of Miami Beach's most vibrant cultural districts. The latest installation by renowned artistic duo Gillie and Marc debuts on Lincoln Road through June 30, featuring two interactive bronze sculptures that invite visitors to engage with their characters Dogman and Rabbitwoman while highlighting the importance of protecting endangered species.
The first sculpture, The Giraffe and Chimpanzee Were on a Wild Ride to a Safer Place with Rabbitwoman and Dogman, features a whimsical bicycle built for four, where the signature characters lead a playful chimpanzee and tall giraffe. Located at 900 Lincoln Road, the piece includes an open seat that encourages visitors to join the imaginative journey toward wildlife conservation.
Complementing this installation is The White Rhino Bench of Friendship, where Dogman and Rabbitwoman share a bronze bench with a majestic white rhino, creating an intimate space for reflection and photo opportunities. Both works exemplify the artists' commitment to raising awareness about endangered species through accessible public art.
This collaboration between the artists and the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District (BID) builds upon the pedestrian promenade's legacy as a cultural destination. The New York Times has recognized Gillie and Marc as "the most successful and prolific creators of public art in New York's history," and their debut in Miami Beach marks a significant addition to Lincoln Road's dynamic artistic landscape.
