Gospel Fest Miami Weekend
Jun 20, 2025 - Jun 22, 2025
Multiple event times
The Adrienne Arsht Center will celebrate the power and legacy of gospel music this summer with a three-day event showcasing national artists, local talent and community dialogue. Taking place June 20–22, Gospel Fest Miami Weekend marks the culmination of the Arsht’s inaugural Gospel Fest Miami, a new cultural initiative that highlights the spiritual and social impact of gospel through music and conversation.
The weekend opens with a free screening of Gospel: The Gospel Train, a documentary by Henry Louis Gates, Jr., followed by a conversation with gospel icon and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Dr. Bobby Jones. Additional programming includes panel discussions on gospel’s influence during the civil rights movement and its lasting impact on contemporary music genres.
Musical highlights include a ticketed performance by Grammy Award-winning singer Michelle Williams on Saturday, June 21, joined by local choir Gamaliel Fleurantin and Community Sounds, winners of the Arsht Gospel Choir Invitational. The festival concludes on Sunday with a free concert featuring Tye Tribbett, along with South Florida acts Gia Wyre, Danielle Davis and the Revolution Choir, and Sensere.
General admission to most events is free with a First Access Pass, while tickets to Michelle Williams’ concert range from $30 to $65. All events will take place at the Adrienne Arsht Center’s Knight Concert Hall, Peacock Education Center and Carnival Studio Theater
