
Grand Season Finale: A Mother’s Day Celebration

The Miami Symphony Orchestra returns to the Adrienne Arsht Center with a program that pays tribute to motherhood through a diverse and expressive musical journey. Taking place on Sunday, May 11, Grand Season Finale: A Mother’s Day Celebration marks the culmination of MISO’s 2024–2025 season under the direction of Maestro Eduardo Marturet.
This concert also honors Tatiana Guiribitey, recipient of the 2025 MISO Golden Baton Award, in recognition of her support for the arts and longstanding dedication to the orchestra and broader cultural community.
The evening features performances by MISO concertmaster Daniel Andai, vocalists Solange Merdinian and Nati Roman, and pianists Christie Julien and Lauren Conde. Urban singer Justin Quiles will deliver a special performance dedicated to mothers in attendance. The musical program includes selections from Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, Beethoven’s Romance No. 2, Mozart’s Andante, Rachmaninoff’s Variation 18, works by Piaf, Kreisler and Bizet’s Carmen.
As a gesture of appreciation, mothers attending the event will receive a complimentary rose, courtesy of Rosa Prima.
