Haitian Heritage Month Poster & Bookmark Unveiling

The unveiling of this year’s commemorative Haitian Heritage Month poster and bookmark will serve as the official kickoff to a month-long celebration of Haitian culture. Scheduled for Saturday, May 3, the ART BEAT MIAMI Haitian Heritage Month Poster & Bookmark Unveiling will take place at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex courtyard.
The evening will feature performances by Ambience Creole, Sheila B and the NSL Dance Ensemble, with DJ Mack providing music throughout the event. Hosting duties will be shared by Carel Pedre of Chokarella and model and media personality Tico Armand. Guests will also have the opportunity to view a live painting by Mr. V The Artist, contribute to an interactive 8x8 art wall and enjoy complimentary Haitian light bites and beverages curated by Chefs of the Caribbean. Attendees will receive copies of the commemorative poster and calendar bookmark as take-home mementos.
These printed materials will be distributed throughout May at local events and to travelers at Miami International Airport, offering a visual gateway into the history, traditions and programming tied to Haitian Heritage Month in Little Haiti and surrounding neighborhoods.
