A gathering of extraordinary dance talent brings classical and contemporary ballet masterpieces to life on the New World Center stage. On Tuesday, February 2, American Ballet Theatre Principal Herman Cornejo headlines the evening with his acclaimed production The Last of Nijinsky: Anima Animal, fresh from its successful run at The Joyce Theater. The program also features selections from beloved classics Swan Lake and Don Quixote, alongside Twyla Tharp's Sinatra Suite and the premiere of Briana Reed's Vingt-Deux.
The stellar cast includes ABT Principals Skylar Brandt, Christine Shevchenko, and Cassandra Trenary, with Soloist Jake Roxander. Miami City Ballet Principals Dawn Atkins and Stanislav Olshanskyi join the performance, along with dancers from Joffrey Ballet School NYC and Paris Ballet and Dance.
