On Monday, September 23, the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach is hosting a program, Building Bridges/Construyendo Puentes: Holocaust History and the Spanish-Speaking World with Christina E. Chavarria of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum at the Miami Beach Jewish Community Center. This special event will explore the intersection of Holocaust history and the Spanish-speaking world, highlighting the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's efforts to bridge cultural divides through bilingual content and Latin American collections.
Holocaust survivor Dr. Miriam Klein-Kassenoff, Education Chair at Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach and Founding Director of the Holocaust Teacher Institute at University of Miami, will share her personal experiences and discuss the impact of these resources on education in the greater Miami area.
