Young artists showcase their creative perspectives on identity and self-expression through a compelling collection of works at the Coral Gables Museum. In Our Hands: A Teen-Crafted Exploration of Expression and Identity runs April 4-30, featuring pieces that navigate the complex terrain of personal discovery and societal connection.
This exhibition emerges from a collaboration with The Museum Project (TMP), highlighting the authentic voices of today's youth as they interpret their places in the world. Visitors will encounter diverse artistic forms that capture both introspective moments and shared experiences, demonstrating how these emerging artists perceive and respond to contemporary challenges.
Sixteen talented young creators contribute to this exploration, including Rosario Aberastury, Phoenix Aragon, Sienna Caunedo, Ariana Formica, Falon Fraga, Sofía Giurida, Daniella Hernandez, Gabriella Lopez, Jorge Martinez, Javier Mirabal, Sophia Murado, Nashley Rodriguez, Antonella Sabatino, Matteo Spagnolo, Xanthe Teijeiro and Kiana Ugarte. The exhibition reflects TMP's ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and cultural participation.
The public opening reception takes place Friday, April 4, from 6-9 p.m.
