Head oceanside on Sunday, May 19 for an open-air concert featuring the Joel DaSilva Blues and Roots, as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series. This weekly series, presented by the Ocean Drive Association, bring free music to the community every Sunday.
Joel DaSilva is an American blues rock guitarist, singer and songwriter hailing from Chicago, and currently based in Florida. His genre-spanning style encompasses Americana, blues, country, funk, jam, r&b/soul, rock and rockabilly. Da Silva has shared the stage with artists like B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Ray Charles and the White Stripes, earning recognition as a sought after musician.
The concert takes place at Lummus Park, between 14th Street and 14th Place. Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 5:00 p.m.
