Journey to Space
This event has passed.
Find out what it's like to work in space at Frost Science's new exhibition, Journey to Space. On view from Saturday, May 25 through October 6, the exhibit offers an immersive experience into the world of astronauts and space exploration.
Journey to Space isn't just about looking at artifacts; it's about feeling what it's like to live and work in space. Through interactive exhibits and authentic objects, you'll be transported to the International Space Station (ISS). Learn about the challenges astronauts face in a weightless environment, from the everyday tasks of eating and sleeping to the constant dangers of outer space's harsh environment.
The exhibition doesn't shy away from the difficulties of space travel. You'll experience firsthand the complexities of operating robotic arms, managing limited power supplies and even the limitations of working in bulky space gloves.
A highlight of the exhibition is the full-scale, climb-aboard replica of the Destiny Lab, the heart of U.S. research on the ISS. Here, you'll experience a simulated zero-gravity environment while astronauts share their experiences via a virtual tour.
Journey to Space is included with general admission to the Frost Science Museum.
