Juneteenth: Run for Education

Participants of all fitness levels are invited to take part in a community-focused 5K supporting education and wellness in honor of Juneteenth.
The 3rd Annual Juneteenth Run for Education will take place on Saturday, June 21, beginning at The Freedom Lab, located at 4300 NW 12th Avenue. Hosted in partnership with The Running Edge 305 and Mino Learning Lab, the event raises funds to provide educational resources and professional development to youth-serving organizations in Miami’s historically Black neighborhoods.
The route will take runners through Liberty City, from NW 12th Avenue to 50th Street and NW 10th Avenue, before looping back to the starting point. In addition to the run, the morning includes a warm-up session, opening remarks and a post-race celebration featuring music, food, games and a panel discussion. Proceeds will also support efforts to address food insecurity and promote health and wellness in underserved communities.
