Just Burn It: End of the Year Fire Ceremony

Mark the end of the year with a powerful evening of reflection and release at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary’s Just Burn It: A Year-End Fire Release Ceremony on Saturday, December 28, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. This immersive gathering invites participants to honor the Winter Solstice in the sanctuary's regenerated forest, offering a transformative space to clear away the past and make way for new beginnings.

The evening begins with an introduction to mindful fire ceremony, followed by grounding and meditation exercises to center yourself. Participants will be guided through rituals of release, including writing intentions, drumming and a “Let it Go” offering to the fire - symbolizing the letting go of what no longer serves. Later, a silent walk through the forest offers a quiet moment of introspection, connecting with nature’s cycles of renewal. 

After the ceremonial experience, attendees are invited to enjoy light bites and share reflections around the fire. Designed to help shed the weight of the past year, this event encourages personal renewal through the purifying energy of fire, honoring ancient practices of transformation and cleansing.
