La La Land in Concert

A live 50-piece orchestra and jazz ensemble adds a new dimension to the Academy Award-winning musical romance about dreamers in the City of Angels. La La Land in Concert comes to the Adrienne Arsht Center on Wednesday, April, as part of Miami Dade College's 42nd annual Miami Film Festival.

The 2016 film, directed by Damien Chazelle and starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, follows the intertwining stories of a jazz pianist and an aspiring actress as they pursue their artistic ambitions in Los Angeles. The live musical performance accompanies a screening of the film, highlighting its celebrated score and memorable piano sequences.
