Discover the vibrant flavors of local agriculture through a special lunch series dedicated to celebrating Miami's farming community. La Table du Jardinier: Saturday Lunch Farm Series takes place on Saturdays (April 12, 19, 26 and May 3) from noon to 3:30 p.m. at Le Jardinier Miami.
This inaugural series spotlights Paradise Farms, a five-acre garden located in Homestead, Florida, just outside Miami. Executive Chef James Friedberg and Chef de Cuisine Zack have crafted a three-course tasting menu ($44) that showcases the farm's seasonal produce.
The menu features thoughtfully prepared dishes including a choice of tomato salad or burrata with local star fruits for the first course, followed by either halibut with bok choy and leafy greens or roasted chicken with yucca and turnip for the main. The culinary journey concludes with a honey and citrus "garden" dessert featuring almond sablé and yogurt mousse.
For those interested in enhancing their dining experience, curated organic wine pairings are available with each course, including selections from France's Loire Valley and Languedoc regions, and Germany's Mosel.
