Latin 2 Piano: From Rio to Miami

Immerse yourself in Brazilian rhythms as world-class musicians transform classical piano into an exhilarating cultural journey. Latin 2 Piano: From Rio to Miami takes place on Friday, May 9 at Sanctuary of the Arts. This performance, presented by Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion, features pianists Thito Camargo and Phil DeGreg alongside bass, drums and percussion players.

The evening showcases a diverse range of authentic Brazilian musical styles including samba, choro, bossa nova, baião and maracatu. Attendees will experience the works of Brazil's most celebrated composers such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Pixinguinha, João Gilberto, Hermeto Pascoal, Egberto Gismonti and Milton Nascimento. 

This performance is part of the Away From Home Series, a program ensuring the continuation of cultural programming during the renovation of the Miami-Dade County Auditorium.
