L'Chaim: A Toast to the Jewish Legacy of Broadway takes the stage at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on February 19-20, celebrating the impact of Jewish artists on American musical theater. The production traces this rich cultural heritage from the early works of Irving Berlin and the Gershwins through contemporary compositions by Stephen Sondheim and Stephen Schwartz. Four performers, accompanied by a live band, present signature works from legendary creative partnerships including Kander & Ebb and Bock & Harnick, while sharing the historical context that shaped these enduring contributions to Broadway's musical canon.
