Discover innovative approaches that harness creativity to address our most pressing environmental challenges. LIVE@Frost Science: Creative Solutions for a Planet in Crisis takes place on Wednesday, April 9 at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. This thought-provoking discussion features Florida Artists Hall of Fame inductee Xavier Cortada and Cortada Foundation Executive Director Adam Roberti, who will share insights on using art as a catalyst for environmental action.
The presentation explores how creative initiatives like The Underwater project can engage diverse communities, transform perspectives and motivate meaningful collective responses to climate change, biodiversity loss and social polarization. Attendees will learn about the intersection of art and environmental advocacy through the lens of the foundation's community-focused projects.
This free event will be held in the Frost Planetarium with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the program beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of four tickets per transaction. Food and beverages will be available for purchase before the event begins. Onsite parking is available in the museum garage for a flat rate of $8 starting at 6:00 p.m. Please note that registration does not include museum admission and museum exhibitions close at 6:00 p.m.
