The Mars Volta brings its signature genre-blurring sound to The Fillmore Miami Beach as part of a headlining North American tour in support of their new album Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos Del Vacío. The performance takes place on Friday, October 31.
Led by guitarist and producer Omar Rodríguez-López and vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala, the band’s latest release features 18 tracks that blend Latin, jazz and pop influences, reflecting the continued evolution of their sound since reuniting in 2022. Known for their experimental approach and energetic live performances, The Mars Volta has chosen to perform the new album in full during this tour—without releasing any singles in advance. Special guests for the show will be announced at a later date.
This Miami Beach stop is part of a broader tour that follows select opening dates with Deftones and the release of the documentary Omar and Cedric: If This Ever Gets Weird, which offers an intimate look at the long-standing creative partnership behind the band.
