Immerse yourself in a weekend of dance, art and culture at the US Tango Foundation's Miami ARTE Tango Fest. The event takes place on Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21, at the Overtown Performing Arts Center, with an activation on Lincoln Road on Thursday December 19 during the monthly Open Air Tango event. This three-day festival offers a vibrant blend tango workshops, live music, tango performances and art. Whether you're an experienced dancer or just starting, the event provides an inclusive atmosphere for all skill levels.
On Friday, enjoy an evening of art and dance, beginning with an art exhibition and poetry from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by a fundamentals tango class and a lively Milonga that runs until 1 a.m. Saturday’s schedule features tango workshops, more dancing and a live show by ARTE Orchestra and singer Mariela Marcó from 10 to 11 p.m. Free and secure parking is available on-site, with additional free street parking.
