Miami Dragon Boat Festival

Witness a display of synchronicity and strength as teams battle for victory in the centuries-old Chinese sporting tradition of dragon boat racing. The 5th annual Miami Dragon Boat Festival returns to Haulover Park on Saturday, October 25. This community event combines athletic competition with cultural celebration while supporting a meaningful cause.
Teams will compete in multiple 500-meter races across various divisions including Mixed, Women's, Open, BCP, ACP and Paradragons. Save Our Sisters, a local organization introducing breast cancer survivors to dragon boating, serves as the charitable partner, with a portion of proceeds benefiting their program.
The festival grounds will buzz with activity beyond the races. Visitors can explore the Health & Wellness Zone featuring products and services promoting healthy lifestyles, visit the Athletes' Village, shop at Vendor Village, enjoy diverse cuisine at the Food Truck Bazaar and more.
With an expected attendance of 1,000 participants and an equal number of spectators, the event offers free admission and a family-friendly atmosphere. Races begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue throughout the day.
New participants are welcome. Groups of 16-25 people can register as a team, while individuals or smaller groups can take advantage of pay-per-seat options by contacting info@gwndragonboat.com. The festival provides an excellent opportunity for local groups to try dragon boating alongside some of Florida's top teams.
