Multiple event times
Spanish-language comedy takes center stage as international performers gather for a week-long cultural festival. Miami Es Un Chiste: Festival de Comedia en Español takes place June 13–21 at the Miami Improv Comedy Theatre in Doral.
As the first international Spanish-language comedy festival in the U.S., the event brings together comedians from across Latin America and Spain for a series of stand-up sets, live podcasts and sketch performances. With more than 16 shows scheduled, the festival features both emerging voices and established acts, providing a platform for artists to reach new audiences while spotlighting the diversity of Spanish-language humor.
This year’s lineup includes performances by Lucho Mellera, Luis Chataing, Fabrizio Copano, Galder Varas, George Harris, Martita de Graná and many others. Special themed nights such as Crowdwork Killers and The Comedy Ring add variety to the schedule, while a storytelling and stand-up session led by George Harris offers insight into the creative process behind comedy.
The festival is expected to draw an estimated 6,000 attendees and offers programming for both Spanish-speaking audiences and those interested in exploring comedy in a new language.
