Miami Heat Wave Dance: Juneteenth Celebration

Celebrate Juneteenth with a free dance performance by the Peter London Global Dance Company (PLGDC) on Wednesday, June 19 at the plaza at Regal Cinemas on Lincoln Road. Presented by the City of Miami Beach and the Lincoln Road Shopping District, the Miami Heat Wave Dance activation commemorates Juneteenth, Day of Freedom and the achievements of the Black community.
The Peter London Global Dance Company, listed by Miami New Times as one of Miami's "Top Ten Dance Companies," is the city's leading multi-ethnic and multicultural dance company. Their performances feature Miami's finest contemporary dancers trained in classical ballet, modern and contemporary dance, Afro-Caribbean, jazz and Hip-Hop. The company's repertory, musicians and artists reflect the rich, multicultural heritage of Miami's global community through a diverse and dynamic array of contemporary, Afro-Caribbean and Latin dance styles.
