Miami Zine Fair
Apr 19, 2025
From: Noon to 5:00 PM
Independent publishers and DIY creatives unite in a celebration of grassroots publishing and artistic expression. The Miami Zine Fair returns to Paradise Plaza in the Miami Design District on Saturday, April 19, from noon to 5 p.m., marking a milestone as organizer EXILE Projects celebrates its 10th anniversary.
This one-day gathering showcases the diversity of self-published works within Miami's creative community. Over 150 local artists, writers, illustrators, designers and publishers will display their zines, offering visitors an opportunity to discover and collect independent publications while connecting directly with creators.
Originally launched in 2015 as part of O, Miami Poetry Month, the fair has evolved into a significant cultural event for the region's independent publishing scene. The 2025 edition promises an expanded experience featuring hundreds of zines, interactive artwork, new releases and hands-on workshops for attendees of all ages.
The fair provides an accessible platform for creators to share their work, with table space available at modest rates to ensure broad participation. This commitment to inclusivity helps maintain the fair's authentic spirit and supports the continued growth of Miami's independent publishing community.
EXILE Projects, the Miami-based nonprofit behind the event, specializes in creating and promoting experimental publications by artists. The organization produces various printed materials including artists' books, monographs, periodicals, zines and their quarterly broadsheet for the Zine Machine.
The 2025 Miami Zine Fair is produced in partnership with Dale Zine, Miami Paper & Printing Museum, O, Miami, Radiator Comics and Sweat Records, with generous support from Miami-Dade County. Questions about the event can be directed to info@exilebooks.com.
