Mother's Day in the Garden

Families can celebrate Mother's Day surrounded by tropical plants and festive activities at one of Miami's premier botanical destinations. Mother's Day in the Garden takes place on Sunday, May 11 at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, offering visitors an opportunity to create lasting memories while surrounded by lush tropical landscapes.

The event features several special attractions designed to enhance the garden experience. Visitors can enjoy musical performances throughout the day and browse works from selected artists participating in the Artist in Bloom Showcase. A variety of boutique vendors will be present, offering plants, food and specialty products suitable for gifting or personal enjoyment.

This celebration coincides with the second day of Fairchild's Annual Spring Plant Sale, giving attendees access to an extensive selection of plants including succulents, orchids and aroids. Many of these specimens are cultivated by Fairchild's own horticulture team, ensuring quality and suitability for the South Florida climate.

For those unable to attend on Mother's Day itself, the Spring Plant Sale runs for both Saturday and Sunday (May 10-11) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering extended opportunities to select botanical gifts from the garden's collection.
